Originally purchased at Scotheby s Car Auction In London for 17,643.75 Pounds or $29,546.22 dollars on July 15, 1996, after this purchase was donated to a museum in 2005 and rarely used. (driven around the block every few weeks) The motor is strong and does not smoke, and she is a pleasure to drive. Within the last year she has had a minor tune up, new plugs, new brake master and booster kit, new rear calipers, belts, new battery and alternator rebuilt. She is ready for the next owner. This Corvette is fairly original and is going to sell for a bargain. Drivetrain: Engine is a 350ci out of a 1972 Chevy with the block code CTL. She runs strong and the 4 barrel carb works as it should. This corvette goes down the road as she should. Steering is not very tight but also not very loose. Transmission shifts as it should, and the cooling system works perfectly. She is Mechanically sound with good oil pressure. she leaks a few drops over a weeks period of time. All gauges inside the cockpit work as they should, even the clock!!. Interior: Interior is original, and in good shape. All Guages work as stated above. Interior seat backings are starting to come apart, but once again every inch of the interior is original. Door panels have minimal wear, but are starting to show warp age typical of these models. Carpet is original. Radio works as it should and sounds good. This car does not have A/C. Rear storage compartment has a master kill switch to keep the battery fresh while in storage. Top: Convertible top is in excellent shape and goes up and down manually, she seals up nice and tight. No rips or tears. Interior Top arms are in great shape, and there is no sign of binding at all. Storage compartment works perfectly. Exterior: She has been repainted at some point over 10 years ago, but it was done correctly. The bodylines are not wavy, and there appears to be no bodywork whatsoever. There are several spots with wear and or blemishes on the passenger front fender. Also on the drivers door there is a minor blemish where it meets the body pillar. Inside pillar where it latches has wear on the driver s side.
